Consider LEDGR if…

  • You want to review imported spending, correct categories, then set targets for next month in Spending Plan.
  • You want a CSV review workflow alongside bank connections where available.
  • You prefer to start with the iOS app and explore LEDGR’s monthly review and planning screens.

Know the trade-offs: new accounts start in the iOS app; the website currently offers member sign-in. Bank availability depends on your institution, and connecting can add transactions automatically. Look over the categories after activity arrives.

Try the same small task in both.

Use a short, representative transaction period. Check dates, amounts, categories, transfers and card payments. Then see whether you can understand that month and plan the next one without fighting the workflow. Check current prices, billing currency and renewal terms separately before paying.

For the LEDGR CSV workflow described here, use a CSV export rather than a PDF statement. Choosing an import currency does not convert the amounts. If another file format or consolidated multi-currency budgeting is essential, confirm the workflow before subscribing.
